Rearing

We rear approx 30,000 poults per year, mainly pheasants but some partridge. All our birds are grass reared on fresh ground each year as so to reduce the risk of disease & the need to use so many drugs.

They are all reared in 8”x 8” breeder houses with 300 per house or in our bigger 24 x 18 sedgemoor houses in batches of 1800 with big grass runs to harden birds off.
